A legtöbb ember vágyik arra, hogy egy közösség tagja legyen, ahol örömét és bánatát
megoszthatja másokkal, ahol támogatást kap az élet nehéz pillanataiban, ahol barátokra lel.
A Belvárosi Közösségi Tér azért jött létre, hogy itt, a nagyváros kellős közepén
megteremtsünk egy ilyen elfogadó közösséget a kerület lakóiból, kicsiknek és nagyoknak,
időseknek és fiataloknak egyaránt.

Belváros Önkormányzata ennek az összetartozásnak a jelképeként útjára indítja az Európa-
szerte megtalálható Vándorbölcső mozgalom keretében a Belvárosi Vándorbölcsőt, amellyel a kerületbe érkező újszülötteket köszöntjük közösségünkben.

A bölcső, amiben évszázadokon át ringatták szüleik a gyermekeket, a gondoskodás, a bizalom szimbóluma, amely ringásával összeköti az édesanya hasában töltött hónapokat a megismerésre váró nagyvilág felfedezésével, hajó, amivel nekivágunk a kalandok Óperenciás-tengerének. A régi korok bölcsői – s manapság is sok családban így van ez – nem egyetlen kisgyermeket szolgáltak ki, generációkon keresztül vándoroltak a családokban, falvakban.

Az egyedi, mesebeli faragásokkal díszített, natúr fából készült Belvárosi Vándorbölcső a
gyermek 4 hónapos koráig ajánlott, elnyerésére bármelyik V. kerületi várandós szülő
jelentkezhet. A bölcső és a hozzá tartozó babakelengye csomag közjegyző által hitelesített
sorsolás útján találja meg gazdáját, s miután a kisbaba kinőtte, a bölcső útnak indul egy új
családhoz.

A Special Cradle Starts its Journey in Downtown

Most people wish to be part of a group, a community where they can share their happiness and sorrows with each other, where they feel the support of others in difficult times, where they can find friends. The Downtown Community Center has been founded within the center of this big city to establish a friendly community like that for the residents of the district, for little ones and older kids, for seniors and youth.

The Local Government of the 5th District launches the Downtown Special Cradle (Belvárosi Vándorbölcső) to symbolize this unity, with which we will greet the newborns of the district and welcome them within our community. The so-called “Vándorbölcső” is known across Europe and we join this initiative now.

The cradle that have been used to rock babies in it for decades is the symbol of caring and trust; the cradle connects the prenatal months spent in the belly of the mothers with the outside world that is ready to be known; the cradle is a ship with which we start our adventures in faraway lands. Cradles were not only used by only one family in the past – and it is the case even now, as well in several families –, but they were passed along to other family members over generations within the village.

Our unique wooden cradle is decorated by fabled carving and is recommended for babies until the age of 4 months and every parent expecting a baby can apply to have it. The cradle and the package of baby essentials will find its new home by drawing certified by a notary. After the cradle is outgrown by the baby, the cradle will find its new home at another family.
