For downtown citizens our institution in Mérleg street means a well-known, friendly and nice place where the family-friendly approaches are not only available for families living in the district, but also for our colleagues.
Downtown Community Center was born into a historic surrounding in 2017 with its modern and peaceful work environment, activity rooms, café and event room, all of them containing high quality furniture.
The family friendly policy, which was established in 2020 in the Helping Hands Ltd., ensures a supporting background for the colleagues in terms of having children, raising them and also of caring for elderly family members. It is our sincere aim that our office should not be only a “simple” workplace for our colleagues, since the key to the success on the long run is that our co-workers also share the philosophy of the Helping Hands Ltd. This aim can be reached only in a modern, inspiring and friendly community space and office.
Our family friendly policy offers solutions to establish the balance between work and private life. When creating the family-friendly allowance the management took the suggestions and opinion of the colleagues into consideration. It is possible to work from home, to choose part-time jobs and we also offer payed days-off above the ones regulated by the law. We ensure a package for babies and school supplies for colleagues having kids, our co-workers can use mental health services and the children of our colleagues can take part at the services of the Downtown Community Center.
